Howard Mash's towering millions are an ever-present threat on his table as they would be on any other remaining in the tournament. His table's full chip counts:

The word "chop" was bandied around before the flop came down, propelling Donev towards a double up. The turn brought the giving Ho one out to win the pot, and it popped out on the river: the .

The table let out a collective shout at the vagaries of the game and a rather shocked Donev headed out of the tournament, winning $12,281, saying, "Even I've got to take a picture of this," as he snapped the board for posterity.

A post-dinner rail has appeared near Dennis Jessee's table. They made their presence known when Jessee took down a pot on the river, the board standing . His opponent had led out and he moved all-in, prompting a fold and loud golf-style clap from his supporters; his stack is now a healthy 2,480,000.

With the board showing a scary four-flush , Valerie Roussel-Galle put in a bet on the river, sending Roger Stewart into the tank. Stewart thought it over for awhile and folded, preserving the last of about a 10-big-blind stack. Roussel-Galle collected the chips and showed the for the ambitious but successful bluff.

Just minutes after returning from the dinner break, Brad Desaye went all-in for the last of his short stack, and got a call from Paul Ferdiani.

Jonathan Bramson raised preflop to 125,000, called by both his left hand side neighbour Layne Flack and the small blind. On a flop, Bramson bet 200,000 (just two green chips at this level), Flack called and the small blind folded. The turn brought the and a quick shove from Bramson.

"Seven forty?" asked Flack immediately, having estimated his opponent's stack to within 5,000 (it was a bet of 735,000). "It's obviously a stone cold bluff," Flack continued while being vigorously massaged, and folded his hand.

There are 60 players remaining in the $1,000 Seniors No Limit Hold'em Championship. Places 60 through 55 come with $10,122 in prize money, after which payouts rise to $12,281 for 54th to 46th.
