Hand 3: Max Steinberg raised from middle position and he was called by Ryan Hughes in the hijack seat. The flop was {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Steinberg bet 25,000. Hughes called. The turn was {2-Diamonds}. Steinberg checked and Hughes checked back. The river was the {Q-Spades}. Steinberg bet 13,000. Hughes called. Steinberg showed {K-Spades}{q-Hearts} while Hughes mucked. Steinberg won the pot.

Hand 4: Cliffy Josephy raised to 14,000 from under the gun and he was called by Evan Silverstein in middle position. The two players went heads up to the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop where action checked around. The turn was the {7-Hearts}. Cliff bet 35,000 and Evan folded.

Welcome to our Day 3 coverage of Event #9: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout. The starting field of 477 entrants is down to just 10 hopefuls, each looking to capture the coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet.

Among the final 10 players are four who have won bracelets. David "Bakes" Baker and Ryan Hughes each have two, while Cliff Josephy and Max Steinberg each own one. For Chris Klodnicki and Tim West, this is a chance to finally break through and capture that elusive bracelet, as the two respected poker pros have a combined 37 cashes at the WSOP without one. Don't sleep on the rest of the table, though, as they have also navigated their way through the tough field to reach this point. Alessandro Longobardi, Steven Silverman, and Simeon Naydenov made deep runs last summer, and Evan Silverstein is a high-stakes grinder looking to make his first live score one a bracelet win.
