Buzgon Busts Danchev and Advances

We don't know exactly how it went down, but we do know Dimitar Danchev managed to get all in against Daniel Buzgon and was at risk.

Danchev: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Buzgon: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

It was basically a coinflip going to the flop with either player having almost a 50/50 chance to win the pot. An {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop was music to Buzgon's eyes as he managed to hit three of a kind aces. A {8-Spades} turn and a {5-Hearts} river were no help to Danchev as he was sent packing.

Haddox Defeats Puchkov

Konstantin Puchkov got his money in good with {A-} {J-} against the {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} of Randy Haddox. The math says ace-jack is a favorite there, but it doesn't seem that way sometimes.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts} {6-Spades} {8-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {9-Hearts}, and that was plenty good for Haddox. His flush has sent Puchkov to the exit with $14,328 to show for his efforts.

Tehan Succumbs

On the turn of a {6-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} {5-Spades} board, Joe Tehan bet 22,000. Ryan Leng had checked, but he shoved in response to his opponent's bet. Tehan had about 90,000 total, and he called all in for his tournament life. He was well ahead.

Tehan tabled {Q-Diamonds} {9-Spades} — top pair. Leng's {J-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} was drawing to five outs, and that would turn out to be plenty. The {J-Clubs} dropped off the deck on the river, and that suckout is the end of Tehan's road here in Event #6.

Aaron Jones Advances to the Next Round

A short stacked Victor Ramdin knew he was going to need some help today, facing off against Aaron Jones. Jones who possessed five times as many chips looked to be a huge favorite heading into today's first set of matches.

Ramdin was able to get all in and called by Jones holding {A-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Jones held {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and just needed to land something on the board and he would deliver the knock out blow to the Pokerstars Team Pro.

With a {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop, Ramdin maintained his lead. A turned {6-Spades} brought more hope, as Ramdin's ace hish was still best. The river {Q-Hearts} sealed the deal as Jones hit his pair of queens and sent Ramdin packing.

Double Up for Zaczac

We don't know the exact action of what happened, but we do know that after a series of raises Zaczac was all in and at risk by the likes of Joseph Cheong.

Cheong: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Zaczac: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

With a {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop it looked as if Zaczac would be indeed receiving his much needed double up. A {5-Clubs} and a {6-Hearts} guarenteed and this match between the 7th and 26th seed will continue a while longer.

Fabrizio Baldassari Advances

Tom McCormick going in to today had the toughest table seeding. Bagging the least amount of chips yesterday caused him to be playing the second biggest stack in the room today due to Warwick Mirzikinian's bye. Bagging 19,000 yesterday, he was drastically out chipped by his opponent, Fabrizio Baldassari, who brought 461,000 here on day two.

It only took about four hands for McCormick to get all in and called by Baldassari. With McCormick holding {J-Spades}{10-Spades} he moved all in for his remaining 15,000 and was called by Baldassari who was holding {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. A {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop was spread out and it looked like McCormick could be on the road to being in contention. A {3-Hearts} turn furthered his hopes, but a {Q-Clubs} river dashed those dreams as Baldassari paired his queen. Baldassari now awaits to play the winner of the Daniel Buzgon vs. Dimitar Danchev match.
