Toan Trinh opened to 20,000 on the button and was called by Anthony Gregg in the small blind and James Schaaf in the big blind.
The flop fell and Gregg led out for 33,000. Schaaf called, but Trinh popped it to 100,000. Gregg ducked out of the way, Schaaf quickly called, and the hit the turn. A check from Schaaf led to a Trinh bet of 100,000, but he found himself faced with a decision when Schaaf raised all in with the bigger stack.
Trinh went deep into the tank, about three minutes worth, before he called with . Schaaf tabled for trips and held up through the river to end Trinh's tournament in seventh place.
