Hand #6: Small Pot for Thomas De Rooij

[user38873] • Nivo 30: 60,000-120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #6: Out of the small blind, Uri Reichenstein raised to 360,000 and Thomas De Rooij called out of the big blind. The flop came {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and both players checked. After the {2-Spades} turn, the action went check, check as well. The {6-Diamonds} river completed the board and both players checked.

Reichenstein showed pocket fives and De Rooij won the pot with {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Hand #5: Stephen Malone raised from under the gun for 255,000. Zorlu Er three-bet to 975,000 in the next seat. Folded round to Malone, the Irishman shoved all in for 3,800,000 and Er called it off!

Er: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Malone: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop of {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} kept Malone ahead, as did the {8-Diamonds} , but three-outer river of the {A-Clubs} skittled Ireland's Stephen Malone in brutal, brutal fashion.

[user38873] • Nivo 30: 60,000-120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #4: Stephen Malone raised it up to 255,000 and Zorlu Er called from the hijack. Sebastian Malec called in the big blind and the flop came {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Malec asked Malone how much he started the hand with and checked. Malone continued for 475,000 and Er quickly called, Malec folded.

On the {6-Hearts} turn, Malone bet 800,000 and Er glanced over. He then peeked at both of his hole cards again and Er folded after some consideration.

Table for Nine

• Nivo 29: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante

The dinner break has been announced, so the remaining nine players will reconvene in 75 minutes after refreshment for the EPT Main Event final table bubble!

We'll return at around 9.10pm local time here in Barcelona and there are four minutes left in the current level.

Morten Mortensen Eliminated in 10th Place (€98,350)

• Nivo 29: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
Morten Mortensen
Morten Mortensen

It happened again! Morten Mortensen is left mortified after a horrible bad beat has busted him in 10th place exactly four seasons after he busted in 10th place in the 2012 EPT Barcelona Main Event.

Adam Owen raised under the gun to 230,000 and Pavel Plesuv called in the cut off. Morten Mortensen raised to 775,000 from the small blind, and when Adam Owen shoved all-in for almost ten million chips, Mortensen quickly called it off.

Morten Mortensen: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Adam Owen: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} kept Mortensen ahead, improving on his 69% pre-flop chance percentage. But the {10-Hearts} turn was a nightmare for him, and despite having seven outs on the river, he could find neither a king or a jack as the {5-Clubs} ended his tournament in the worst possible way.

While Mortensen's rail are dejected, Adam Owen's fans have gone crazy. Their man has 15 million chips, a vast lead over the field and every chance of making the EPT Main Event final table as leader. Neither he - or Morten - can hardly believe what just happened.

Owen and Mortensen Get To It

• Nivo 29: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
Adam Owen
Adam Owen

Adam Owen raised pre-flop from the cut off and was called by Morten Mortensen in the big blind. The flop of {7-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} saw Owen bet half the pot and Mortensen call. On the turn of {3-Hearts} , Owen bet 450,000 and Mortensen called.

The river of {3-Clubs} saw Owen make it 1.3 million and that was too rich for the Dane. Adam Owen has a big lead.
