Veghinas: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Soulier: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board ran {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} to safely see a relived Soulier take the pot and the scalp.

Stefano Demontis Exorcised

Stefano Demontis' tournament has come to an abrupt end in 21st place. The action folded around to him in the small blind and he decided to try and steal the blinds and antes by moving all in for 188,000. Stefano Puccilli was his opponent in the big blind and he made the call with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to discover he was up against the {J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} of his all-in opponent.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} keeping the threes in front. The {7-Spades} on the turn meant Demontis could not only hit a jack but it failed to materialise as the river was the {10-Diamonds}.

We are now down to 19 players in the EPT Campione main event.

Naydenov Shoves Again

[user169806] • Nivo 22: 8,000-16,000, 2,000 ante

Despite having more than 1,700,000 chips in his stack Simeon Naydenov has employed the unusual strategy of moving all in whenever he wants to play a hand.

Just now Andrea Benelli opened on the button to 32,000 and Naydenov three-bet all in for 1,700,000 chips from the small blind. Stefano Demontis got out of the way and despite looking like he was going to call, Benelli ultimately got out of the way and folded his hand.

Nagel And Busquet Clash

[user169806] • Nivo 22: 8,000-16,000, 2,000 ante

From under the gun Mario Nagel made it 32,000 to play and nobody wanted to tangle with him. That was until the action reached Olivier Busquet in the big blind. The heads-up specialist then three-bet to 79,000 putting the action back onto Nagel. He thought for 20-30 seconds before making the call.

A flop reading {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} saw Busquet check and Nagel check behind, prompting the dealer to put the {K-Diamonds} on the turn. Busquet checked again but this time Nagel decided to bet and he made it 123,000 to play and no sooner had he done that Busquet relinquished his hand.

Naydenov On a Charge

Simeon Naydenov is a man on a mission today. He's already knocked out three players and is playing a brand of high variance power poker.

Balazs Botond opened to 34,000 and was called on the button by David Vamplew before Naydenov three-bet shoved from the big blind. It forced both players to fold in a "I'm the table captain" type of manoeuvre.
